Crescent City Redwoods KOA
The Redwood Forest KOA is a great base camp to stay at while visiting the Redwood Forest and America’s Wild Rivers Coast. All of the staff are excellent tour guides for the area and have all of the tools you will need to find the best Redwood Forest hikes and groves, four very diverse beaches for agate hunting and dune hiking, all of our area activities, plus river rafting and swimming. The KOA is located 5 miles from the beaches and 3 miles from the National and State Redwood Park system and the Smith River. Day trips include guided river and ocean fishing, river jet boat trips, the Oregon Caves, the Trees of Mystery, the Redwood Tour Thru Tree and the famous Fern Canyon at Gold Bluffs Beach. The KOA is located on 17 acres with 10 acres of Redwood Forest that offer unique tent camping sites. Full hook-up, 30/50 amp RV sites are big rig friendly with expanded cable and Wi-Fi. For smaller RV’s there are beautiful W/E sites available in the Redwood Forest section of the campground. Also available are one and two bedroom kamping kabins scattered in and out of the Redwoods. During the summer months enjoy pancake breakfasts plus nightly ice cream socials. Wi-Fi is always available to forest tent campers in the recreation hall and laundry facilities are open 24/7. Campfires are always permitted at every site for a relaxing evening around the fire. Come stay and play where the giants grow.
