Art Festival –  July 3-4, 2017

Held by the California Redwood Art Association at the  Cultural Center, 1001 Front Street.

You will find a wide variety of work by local and non-local artists, from woodwork to oil painting to jewelry to photography to note cards, metal art, quilts and other fabric art and much more.  There will be a Taylor Sausage & Dogs BBQ on the deck and FREE face painting.

Crescent City 4th of July Fun Run –  July 4th

5k walk and 5k run.

Registration begins at 8:00am and the race starts at 10:00 am

 Annual 4th of July Parade, Festival, & Fireworks –  July 4th

Come one and all!  Your’e in for a swell American celebration in down town Crescent City!

Starting at 10:00 am a parade kicks off Crescent City’s festivities.  Seats go quick along the parade route in downtown Crescent City so get their early to find the best ones.  There’s plenty to see and do while you wait for the various groups, walking, dancing, singing, and some waving from their vintage cars or shined up farm vehicles.  Check out the History Museum’s canon and support them by having a berry pie a  la mode or grab an espresso or hot chocolate at Enoteca!

Next, head on over followed by Beachfront park attractions; including food vendors, live music, art, games, and so much more!

Think you had plenty of food and American small town family fun?  Wait.  The fun is just getting started.  One of the biggest firework shows on the north coast starts after 9:00 pm.  Till then, wander the Beachfront park attractions, or downtown shops and restaurants, play on one of the beautiful nearby beaches, check out local craft beer,

36th Annual Pie and Ice Cream Social –  July 4th

Come one and all!  Your’e in for a swell American celebration in down town Crescent City!

9:00 am – 1:00 pm The Del Norte County Historical Society museum will have homemade pie and cobbler, with ice cream and coffee.  On the corner of 6th and H Street.  For more information call 707-464-3922
