Del Norte County Historical Society Main Museum

Discover the history of Del Norte County at this Museum. Best known for having one the finest collections of Native American basketry by the Tolowa and Yurok Indians. The museum also has the most complete collection of photographs of the 1964 Tsunami Disaster. Extensive research books and reference materials are available and for sale.

Hours: Open Monday through Saturday, 10 to 4, May-September. Special tours and showings can be arranged in the off-season.
